WHAT:  Join Jane and Estby descendants including Carole Estby Dagg, author of the young adult novel, The Year We Were Famous, being released the day before Jane's book, The Daughter's Walk.  Other descendants will also be on hand, along with award-winning author Linda L. Hunt.  These three women will talk about their latest releases based on the lives of Clara, Helga and the Estby family and the consequences of their amazing walk from Spokane to New York in l896.  Light refreshments, books to buy and have signed and good conversation.  Come see Helga's quilt and other artifacts of the Estby family story.

WHAT:  "REMEMBERING EMMA."  Emma Wagner Giesy, an Aurora Colony member, died on May 17, 1916.  Jane's Change and Cherish historical series tells about the extraordinary life of Emma whose memory will be honored at this event.

Jane will be visiting Salt Lake City in early June to promote her latest novel, The Daughter's Walk. It was in Salt Lake City in 1896 that Helga and Clara donned the new reform dress.  It was a big moment in their walk and helped define Clara's life brushing against the fashion industry. WHAT:  COLUMBIA-WILLAMETTE CHAPTER of WOMEN OF VISION. Join Jane as she brings her brand of Joy to the World as we begin the Christmas season.  The Columbia-Willamette Chapter of Women of Vision holds a special place in Jane's heart as it was member Kathy Williams, now deceased, who first introduced Jane to Women of Vision and their generosity around the world. WHERE:  Lane County Events Center, Eugene, Oregon
WHAT:  Artists' & Authors' Fair.  This is the place to do your Christmas and other holiday shopping.  Jane will have her three newest books of this year for sale and signing, but you'll also encounter dozens of other authors and artists with delicious wares to fill your holiday stockings.  This is a fundraiser for the Eugene Public Library and a portion of all sales goes to support the work of that fine organization.
